RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His Infinite Wisdom has called Colleen M. Strock to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Colleen M. Strock, nee Olik. Beloved wife ofthe late Gary M. Strock Sr. Dear mother of Gary Michael (Samantha), Emma-Leigh and Zackery. Loving Peepsy of Samuel, Graysen and Gary. Devoted daughter of the late Anthony and Ellenor, nee Fox and daughter in law of the late William and Annie. Dear sister of Rich (Karen) Olik, Paulette (the late Terry) Pickett, Debbie (Rich) Fousek, Michael (Cindy) Olik, Jackie (Rob) Woith, the late Tommy (Mary) Olik and the late Barbara Olik. Sister in law of William Strock III, Pam Romanowski, Nancy Strock, Beth (Gus) DeBruyn. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Lifelong resident of the Southwest Side of Chicago, of Garfield Ridge Neighborhood; and
WHERAS, Colleen M. Strock leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this nineteenth day of February, 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Colleen M. Strock and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family Colleen M. Strock.
