RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Robert D. Lewis has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Robert D. Lewis; Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Tomczak); loving father of Robert, Jr. (Rosa), Ronald (Sandy), Deborah, William (Stacy), Cheryl Csage, Michelle (Jim) Thome and the late Lynn (late Frank) Vondrak; cherished grandfather of Nicole (Isiah), Lauren, Tyler, Samantha, Angela, Arianna, Riley and Avery; adored great-grandfather of Carolyn, Madison, Jackson, Ryder and Owen; devoted son of the late Paul and Catherine Lewis; dear brother of Paul, Jr. (late Mary), late Shirley (late Michael) Beninato, late Donald (Kitty), late Marcy (late William) Bertucci and the late Tom (late Jeannie); fond uncle of many nieces and nephews! and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Robert D. Lewis to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twelfth day of December 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Robert D. Lewis and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
