RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, From the 1950's until the mid-1990's Mrs. Laurette Kittler was the drama teacher at St. Benedict High School in the 47^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Kittler did more than just teach drama - she inspired her students to be their best and achieve their full potential; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Kittler joined her love for theater with her love of teaching, and encouraged her students to not only act, but work together as a team giving them critical skills for their lives beyond school; and

WHEREAS, Countless students have expressed their admiration and gratitude for the contribution Mrs. Kittler made in their life; and

WHEREAS, On October 24, 2015, Mrs. Kittler will be inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame at St. Benedict School; now therefore

Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor, and the Aldermen of the Chicago City Council assembled here this 14^th day of October, 2015 do hereby congratulate Mrs. Kittler for her outstanding career and join with the St. Benedict community in welcoming her to the St. Benedict Alumni Hall of Fame.
