RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, William J. Morrissey has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward at the age of 72; and

WHEREAS, the Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, William J. Morrissey; Life partner of the late Jeannie McKee. Devoted father of Renny Morrissey. Loving grandfather of Aislynn and Tyler Morrissey. Cherished son of the late Edward (late Bernice nee Sharp) Morrissey. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Special friend to June Boyd. Friend to all who knew him, especially Patrick (late Donna nee McKee) O'Malley; and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared William J. Morrissey to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twelfth day of December 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of William J. Morrissey and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy be presented to the family
