Resolution

WHEREAS, Robert Vanderbilt, parking attendant at the Central Parking Garage, has officially announced his retirement; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his decision by the Honorable Brendan Reilly; and

WHEREAS, Robert Vanderbilt has been a fixture of Central Parking Garage for an incredible forty-five continuous years; and

WHEREAS, Joining Central parking Garage in 1968, Robert Vanderbilt has given service to many City, County, and State employees and general public over the years, and

WHEREAS, A hardworking man, Robert Vanderbilt has set an example for the young people in this community; therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council, assembled this twenty-fourth day of July 2013, do hereby commend Robert Vanderbilt for his decades of hard work; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Robert Vanderbilt.
