RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, On July 26, 2021 the Clear Ridge 16U Little League won the Senior Division State Championship at Michael Looney Park in Burbank; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this accomplishment by Alderman Marty Quinn; and
WHEREAS, The Clear Ridge 16U Little League was managed by Tommy Phillips arid coached by Mike Zavala, Keith Bischoff and Randy Etapa. The team was comprised of fourteen young men, many who have been All Stars since they were little guys; and
WHEREAS, Michael liiclski, Thomas Bischoff, Austin Bringle, Gavin Dragozctich, Marcus Drowns, Jonathan Klikuszewski, Vince Morawski, Michael Munoz, Orion Phillips, Justin Ramirez, Giovanni Rocha, Matthew Stevens, Francisco Toro, and Michael Zavala went the entire regular season undefeated; and
WHERAS, the Clear Ridge 16U Little League beat the Burbank All Stars at the District Level and the Joliet All Stars at the Sub State Level. They clinched the State Championship against the East Side Hegwisch All Stars. Due the Pandemic, The Little League World Series was not held at the Senior Division level; and
WHEREAS, These fourteen young men on the Clear Ridge 16U Little League are a fine example of dedication, hard work, sportsmanship, and grace under pressure; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe Chicago City Council gathered here this fourteenth day of October, 2021, do hereby congratulate the Clear Ridge 16U Little League on their phenomenal 2021 Season and wish them much success in the future endeavors; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Clear Ridge 16U Little League.
