City Council February 24th, 2021
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, James "Mack" Macchione has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, James Macchione, Beloved husband of Angela "Lolly" (hee Sabbia); loving father of James (Jenny) Macchione and Lisa (Carmine) Giso; fond papa of Salvatore "Sam", Jimmy, Carmine "TT", Stella, Cookie I, Cookie II and Cookie III; beloved son of the late Mamie Macchione; dear brother-in-law of Marie (RC) Arcieri, Sharon (the late Michael) Coletta and the late Linda (Charles) Catino; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared James to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty fourth of February 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of James Macchione and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James Macchione
