RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Theresa C Scopacasa has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Antonetta Scopacasa. Preceded in death by her sisters Catherine, Jane (Peter) Pivac, nephew (Jack Pivac) and brother Vincent "Dykes" Scopacasa. Theresa is survived by her sister-in-law Sara Scopacasa, niece Toni (Mike) Thryselius, nephews Frank (Colleen).and James (Deborah) Scopacasa. Loving great-aunt of Malena.and Niklas Thryselius, Marco, Mia, Leo, Sofia and Samuel Scopacasa. Dear friend to many. Dedicated member of Old Neighborhood Italian American Club Women's Alliance, Marian Society, Club Maria SS. Incoronata, Silhouettes and many other church/senior clubs; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Theresa to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-six of January 2022, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Theresa C Scopacasa and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
