RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Mary Lou Delgado has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11 th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Mary Lou Delgado was a long-time resident of Chicago; Loving and caring, oldest sister to seven sisters and three brothers; Kindhearted aunt to many nieces and nephews; A devout practicing Catholic whose family was of the utmost importance to her ; and

WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Mary to her family members, friends and all who knew her,, and enabled her to enrich their lives; in ways they will never forget; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this fourteenth of October 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Mary Lou Delgado and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Patrick D. Thompson Alderman, 11th Ward

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Lou Delgado.
