ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1: On behalf of the City of Chicago as Landlord, the Commissioner of the Department of Fleet and Facility Management is authorized to execute a Lease with Logan Square Preservation, as Tenant, for use of the former Logan Square Comfort Station located at 2579 North Milwaukee Avenue; such Lease to be approved by the Commissioner of the Department of Planning and Development, and approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel in substantially the following form:

THIS LEASE is made and entered into this day of ,
2015, ("Commencement Dale") by and between the CITY OF CHICAGO, an Illinois Municipal Corporation and Home Rule Unit of Government (hereinafter referred to as "Landlord" or "City") and LOGAN SQUARE PRESERVATION an Illinois not-for-profit corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Tenant").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Landlord is the owner of the Comfort Station, an approximately 675 square foot historic building located at 2579 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, Tenant is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to architectural preservation, history, and beautification in the Logan Square neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, Tenant wishes to operate the Comfort Station as a public information and community arts center.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants, terms and conditions set forth herein, the parties agree and covenant as follows:
SECTION 1. GRANT
1.1 Grant. Landlord hereby leases to Tenant, and Tenant hereby leases from Landlord, the following described premises situated in the City of Chicago, County of Cook, State of Illinois, to wit:
The historic 675 square foot Comfort Station building located at 2579 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois (the "Premises").
