RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Shirley M. Toppett Morrissey to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Shirley M. Toppett Morrissey, passed away at home surrounded by family and friends. Beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of Patricia (Kenneth) Harthun, Mary (Michael) Kochanny, the late Susan Morrissey and Kathryn Morrissey. Cherished grandmother of Sara and Ryan Kochanny. Dear sister of the late Gloria Fritz and Karen Bell. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Devoted friend of Carole Wright. Shirley M. Toppett Morrissey leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this sixteenth day of October, 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Shirley M. Toppett Morrissey and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
