Resolution

 

 

 

Whereas, Peggy Gelsomino will turn 88 years old on August 25th, 2017; and

Whereas, for several decades, Peggy was the chef and manager of Gino's North, a longtime and highly valued 48th Ward business; and

Whereas, Peggy has been a resident of Edgewater since 1967; and

Whereas, Peggy has contributed to the community in many ways, not the least of which are her sunny attitude and welcoming smile for all; also

Whereas, Mrs. Gelsomino has won multiple local awards including Sweetheart of Edgewater.

Now, be it resolved, that the Mayor and members of the City Council of Chicago, assembled this 9th day of September, 2017, do hereby honor Peggy Gelsomino for her contributions to the community.

Be it further resolved, that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Peggy.
