WHEREAS, Harry Leo Brice, Jr. has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward at the age of 70; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Harry Leo Brice Jr.; Loving husband of Jennifer Duncan-Brice. Doting father of Kate and Andrew. Son of the late Harry L. Sr. and Mae (nee Healy). Brother of Mary Ann (the late Thomas) Egan, Bernard (Mary Alice) Brice and the late Nora "Patti" (Jim) Karr. Uncle, great-uncle, cousin and life-long friend of many; and
WHEREAS, Harry Leo Brice, Jr. received his law degree in 1976 from John Marshall Law School, was a proud son of the 11th Ward, and a lifelong White Sox fan. Harry was also known for his quick wit and humor; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Harry Leo Brice, Jr. to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
• BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this thirty-first day of October 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Harry Leo Brice, Jr. and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Harry Leo Brice, Jr.
