MEMORIAL RESOLUTION CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF ARTHUR E. BAIRSTOW
WHEREAS, Arthur "Art" E. Bairstow, beloved husband and devoted father passed away on May 31st, 2022; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of Arthur's passing by the Honorable Samantha Nugent, Alderman ofthe 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Arthur Bairstow was born in 1938 to the late Arthur F. and Florence "Peggy" (nee Elliot) Bairstow; a fourth generation native of the Albany Park community and longtime resident of Wilmette, Illinois; he is survived by his wife, Adrienne "Sis" (nee Welch) and daughter Adrienne M. Bairstow; and;
WHEREAS,, After the passing of his father in 1990, Art, alongside his brother, James J., continued the local family business ofthe A.F. Bairstow Company; which continues to be a strong pillar within the community and Chicago metropolitan area; and;
WHEREAS, Arthur will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him, especially his siblings Patricia "Pat" Lencioni, Kathleen Brown, and Jim Bairstow, along with many nieces and nephews; and; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and member ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-second day of June, 2022, do hereby extend our most heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Arthur Bairstow; and
