RESOLUTION

September 20, 2018 City Council

WHEREAS, Eleanore M. Drozd has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Eleanore M. Drozd(nee Granich) Beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mother of Edward (Nicole) Drozd; beloved daughter of the late Mate and Anna Granich; loving baba of Ike, Sophia, Nina, and Stella; dear sister of the late Ljubica (Mate) Babich, Charles (Frances) Oslavkovich, Frank Oslavkovich, Jenny (John) Borich, and Betty (Edward) Ejma; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews and good friend to many; and

WHEREAS, Eleanore M. Drozd was an active Member of the Silhouettes, Marian Society, and Club Poljica; and

WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Eleanore M. Drozd to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in a way they will never forget; and

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twentieth day of September 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Eleanore M. Drozd and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
