MEMORIAL RESOLUTION CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF LAWRENCE T. O'BRIEN
WHEREAS, On Sunday, March 22, 2015 Lawrence T. O'Brien, an outstanding citizen and beloved friend, had been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God; and
WHEREAS, Lawrence T. O'Brien, born April 18, 1945 was the loving son of Daniel and Elizabeth O'Brien. He and his three siblings brought many memorable moments into the O'Brien Family home; and
WHEREAS, Lawrence T. O'Brien is an alumnus of St. Ignatius College Prep, Northwestern University and Loyola Law School. He served his country proudly and is a Vietnam Veteran. Larry, as he was affectionately known by family members and friends, was a man of great character who leaves behind a legacy of love, family and many friends; and
WHEREAS, A cherished friend and good neighbor to all, Lawrence O'Brien had enriched the lives of the young and the old. He will be deeply missed but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him; and
WHEREAS, Lawrence T. O'Brien leaves a host of loved ones and friends to mourn his loss and cherish his memory. He will always be remembered as the devoted and beloved husband of Nancy nee McPartin for forty years; the very proud father of Barton (Jean), Jillian (John) Dine and Clayton (Megan); the very loving and proud Papa of Gavin, Elizabeth, William, Catherine and Madeline O'Brien, Clayton and Ryan Dine, and Brendan O'Brien; beloved son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth O'Brien; the loving brother of Rosemary (the late John) Welsenberger, Daniel and Patrick (Elizabeth), and cherished son-in-law of Jerre (the late Robert) McPartin; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Lawrence T. O'Brien to his family members, friends and all who knew him and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore,
