RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Alma A. Goss to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Alma A. Goss, nee Vigenski, 77, December 20, 2015, longtime resident of Southwest side of Chicago-Clearing neighborhood, beloved wife of the late Edward J. Goss, C.F.D.; devoted mother of David A. (Mary) Goss, of Sugar Grove, IL; loving grandmother of Melissa (Art) Peterson, Kristin Goss, Kathleen (Nathan) Baldwin and Trisha Goss; dear great grandmother of Kyler, Rylen, Greydon, Elijah and Adelaide; fond sister of Ralph (Sheila) Vegenski, the late Michael (late Marcella) Vigenski, the late Edna (the late Richard) Horestski, the late Ernie Vigenski, and the late Eldon (Delores) Vigenski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, many dear friends and wonderful neighbors. Retired Butcher, having retired from Rose Meat Packing after 30 years. Alma A. Goss leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this tenth day of February, 2016, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Alma A. Goss and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Alma A. Goss.
