RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His Infinite Wisdom and Judgment has called to his Eternal Reward Timothy Bernard Farmer, an outstanding citizen and beloved friend, August 14, 2013, at the age of 52 years; and
WHEREAS, Born in Chicago, January 25, 1961 Timothy was the loving son of his parents. Timothy, his siblings and his parents shared quality time together while growing up. He confessed his faith in Our Lord and was baptized at an early age. Timothy graduated form Morgan Park High School in 1979. He also attended Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee. He served his country proudly in the United States Army and often spoke about being an Airborne Paratrooper's Ranger. He earned a Good Conduct Medal, Army Service Ribbon and a Marksman medal; and
WHEREAS, Timothy Bernard Farmer was employed with Lipshaw Freight Company in Chicago, at the Uptown Bank of Chicago as a security guard, and at Dominick's Foods as an apprentice butcher, where he made many friends. He lived his life to the fullest and was known by his co-workers, employers and customers as a kind and considerate man who made the world a better place; and
WHEREAS, Timothy Bernard Farmer was a vital and active member in his grateful community and will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him
WHEREAS, His parents, Rickie Farmer Rogers, Timothy Farmer, Sr. and Excel Rogers; his grandmother, Emma Adams and his aunts, Bernadine Smith, Irma Raticliff, Ellen Jones and Betty Wynne, having preceded him in death, Timothy Bernard Farmer leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory his sisters, Dionne Farmer, Melody Farmer, Bridgette Farmer and Dawn (Elmer) Payton; brothers, Emory Farmer and Excel Rodgers; nieces and nephews, Kiara, Elmer, Tiffany, Michael, Jacob, Layla, Jordan, Autumn, Jasmine and Jaylen; aunts, Joann (Denver) Thames, Eva Adams, Jacqueline (Gus) Marks; uncles, Jimmy, James Wynne and Buddy Emory Rogers; and a host o...
