RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Edward Stanley Pacanowski has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Edward Stanley Pacanowski, WWII Army veteran, beloved husband for 68 years of the late Ann (nee Skowronek); loving father of Gail; dear brother of the late Eleanor, Jean, and Irwin; fond uncle and friend of many; and

WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of Edward Stanley Pacanowski serve as an example to all; who will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his many relatives, friends, and admirers; now, therefore

WHEREAS BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this tenth of April 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Edward Stanley Pacanowski and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution§fe presented to the family of Ed^rmd Stanley Pacanowski. g
