ORDINANCE

WHEREAS, On July 30, 2014, this body adopted the resolution designated record number R2014-627 in a manner that did not comport with Rule 41 of the City Council of the City of Chicago's Rules of Order and Procedure; and

WHEREAS, The resolution does not fit in any of the categories of resolutions eligible for adoption without first being reported out of committee, i.e., "[resolutions determining the membership, Chairman or Vice-Chairman of Council committees, Vice Mayor or President Pro Tempore" and "resolutions concerning deaths, congratulations, ceremonial and noncontroversial matters"; now, therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. The resolution designated record number R2014-627 is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and approval
