RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Tammy D. Smith has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of
50 to her eternal .reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Tammy D. Smith;; Loving mother of Julian Solis, Michael Solis, Jeorgio Solis, Gabrielle Solis-Sanchez (Lilia Sanchez), Eric Solis, Edwin Solis (Vanessa Smith), and the late Frankie Solis; cherished grandmother of Hannibal, Sophia, Jaylyn, Xavier, Violet, Ezliannah, Genesis, and-Savannah; dear sister of Raymond Smith (Lynda Fisher), Terry Smith, late Tina Smith, and Victor Smith; fond Godmother of Amanda Fisher;\also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews; Tammy was preceded in death by,her mother Fannie May Smith; and
WHEREAS, Tammy was; a lifelong resident of the South Side of Chicago -Bridgeport ncighborhood.Tammy enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and watching Turkish soap operas; She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildrert; Tammy was a devoted mother, grandmother^ sister, aunt, and friend to many; Tammy was a fun-loving person; She will always be remembered for her kind generosity, outgoing personality, and simply just being "Momma Tammy"; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty first of July 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Tammy D. Smith and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Tamriiy D. Smith.
