ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO.

SECTION 1. Section 1-24-020 ofthe Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language and deleting the language struck through, as follows:

1-24-020 Minimum Hourly Wage.

(Omitted text is unaffected by this ordinance)

(e) Beginning on July 1, 2019, the greater of: (1) the minimum hourly Wage set by the Minimum Wage Law; (2) the minimum hourly Wage set by the Fair Labor Standards Act; or (3) $13.00 $15.00 per hour.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication. .
