SECTION 1. Title 17 of the Municipal code of Chicago, the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by adding the language underscored as follows:

17-17-0232.5-A A business, service or retail space in which up to 30% ofthe floor area or 750 square feet whichever is less, may be utilized as a residence, occupied by the operator and his family, which is classified as an "Accessory Use " as defined in Section 17-9-0201-B of this Code.
17-17-0232.5-B There are no additional parking requirements for those use classified as a "Business Work / Live Space". Parking requirements are to be determined solely in accordance with the off-street parking schedules of Sec. 17-10-0200.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take full force and effect upon its passage and due publication.
