RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, James Lawrence Calcagno has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward on January 6, 2019; and,
WHEREAS, The Members of the Chicago City Council have been informed of his passing by the Honorable Raymond A. Lopez, Alderman of the 15th Ward; and,
WHEREAS, His ability to live life to the fullest endeared James Lawrence Calcagno to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; and,
WHEREAS, James Lawrence Calcagno had many loves in his life, including being Italian, being a members of Teamsters 705, listening to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Al Martino, eating Portillo's, golfing, spoiling grandchildren, spending time in Florida, and of course watching his beloved Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field; and,
WHEREAS, There perhaps was one love that outshined all the rest: his unyielding love and affection for his wife of thirty years, Patricia; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-third of January 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of James Lawrence Calcagno and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to
