RESOLUTION EXTENDING CONGRATULATIONS TO MATTHEW FRANK ZEBROWSKI FOR ACHIEVING THE RANK OF EAGLE SCOUT
WHEREAS, Matthew Frank Zebrowski, a member ofthe Boy Scouts of America Scout Troop 671, was awarded Scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout on ApriM8, 2017; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of this special occasion by the Honorable Michael Zalewski, Alderman ofthe 23rd Ward; and
WHEREAS, Attaining the rank of Eagle Scout is achieved by only two percent of young men who enroll in the scouting program. To become an Eagle Scout, a Scout must earn twenty-one merit badges in addition to completing several community service projects; and
WHEREAS, Matthew Frank Zebrowski has completed all ofthe requirements for the rank of Eagle Scout and has been examined by an Eagle Scout Board of Review, certifying his worthiness for Scouting's highest distinction and now joins the ranks of many successful and influential Eagle Scouts; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor, and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this twenty-eighth day of June, 2017, do hereby extend our heartiest congratulations to Matthew Frank Zebrowski on attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and wish him every success in all of his future endeavors;
Be It Further Resolved, that a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to Matthew Frank Zebrowski.
