BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO, That the Rules of Order and Procedure of the City Council, City of Chicago, for the 2019 - 2023 term are hereby amended by inserting the language underscored, as follows:

RULE 54. Cellular telephones and other personal electronic devices that will emit a sound shall be set on silence or vibrate mode at all times and may not be used to make or receive audio or video calls, or to simultaneously record and broadcast ("live stream") video while a person is in the City Council Chambers or in any other room that is utilized for a committee meeting while a City Council or committee meeting is in progress. The Sergeant-At-Arms shall post signs in appropriate places to advise the public of this Rule.
