RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, We, the members of the Chicago City Council, wish to extend our congratulations and warmest birthday wishes to Charlene Knight Shipp in honor of her 65^th Birthday; and,

WHEREAS, on behalf of the entire 15^th Ward, Alderman Raymond Lopez would like to extend his personal tribute to Charlene Knight Shipp on the occasion of this momentous occasion as recognition for being a stellar Resident of the City of Chicago; and,

WHEREAS, Charlene Knight Shipp now belongs to our 15^th Ward Seniors community, of whom we value and treasure for all they have given and taught us in their collective lifetime; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor and Members of the Chicago City Council, gathered here this 13th of November, 2019 A.D., do hereby congratulate Charlene Knight Shipp on the occasion of her birthday; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we extend our warmest and heartfelt best wishes to Charlene Knight Shipp for her continued good health, happiness and success following this, her 65^th Birthday; and,

BEIT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to Charlene Knight Shipp in honor of her 65^th Birthday as a token of our esteem and good wishes.
