IN TRIBUTE TO ANTHONY BAILEY

WHEREAS, God in His Infinite Wisdom has called to his Eternal Reward, Anthony Bailey, beloved citizen and friend on September 8, 2013; and

WHEREAS, This august body has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Anthony Beale, Alderman of the 9^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Born in Chicago on December 4,1957, Anthony Bailey was the devoted son of Ernest L. and Elizabeth Bailey, and brother to Ernest L. Bailey, Jr., all of whom preceded him in death; and

WHEREAS, Anthony Bailey was a vital and active member in his community who was beloved of many family, friends, and extended family members and will be sorely missed. Anthony Bailey leaves to cherish his memory four brothers, James, Arnold (Angie), Victor (Annabel), Stevie (Lolita); four sisters: Mary, Catherine, Bernadine, Nancy (Rollins); and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this 16^th day of October 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the passing of Anthony Bailey, and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Anthony Bailey.
