^ IMMEMORIAL RESOLUTION HONORING IRMA JEAN PULPHUS MOREHOUSE

WHEREAS, Almighty God, in His infinite wisdom and judgment called to her eternal rest Irma Jean Pulphus Morehouse, a well-loved citizen, relative and friend last year in 2012; and

WHEREAS, this august body has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Emma Mitts, Alderman of the 37,h Ward; and

WHEREAS, Inna Jean Pulphus Morehouse, born in Marianna, Arkansas on March 21, 1946 was the loving and devoted daughter of Ervin and Sallie Pulphus, both of whom preceded her in death; and her four brothers who also preceded her in death: Alex Pulphus, Arthur Eugene Pulphus, Willie Pulphus and Theodis Pulphus; and

WHEREAS, Irma Jean Pulphus Morehouse was united in holy matrimony to the late Elijah Morehouse, and this union was blessed with a loving daughter Ericka Pulphus; and

WHEREAS, Irma Jean Pulphus Morehouse was a respected , loyal and dedicated employee of the Phillip County Development Center, who served as a Teacher Technician for the last twenty years; and

WHEREAS, Inna Jean Pulphus Morehouse was well known and beloved as a vital, active and respectable citizen who took an active interest in her community for many years. She was a proud graduate of Lakeview High School and graduated from Southern State University; and

WHEREAS, Irma Jean Pulphus Morehouse confessed her life to Christ at an early age, and was a dedicated and faithful member of Pettis Memorial CME Church in West Helena, Arkansas; and

WHEREAS, Inna Jean Pulphus Morehouse was deeply admired as an affectionate, fun-loving and supportive woman, who gave selflessly of her time and energy to family members, friends, and neighbors. Her laughter and sweet, infectious spirit will be sorely missed, but the memory of her wonderful cooking ability, love of travel, strong character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved her; and

WHEREAS, Irma Jean Pulphus Morehouse leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memor...
