RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Eric Lee Crawford has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Eric Lee Crawford, beloved son of Patricia Deates and Roosevelt Crawford; dear ■brother of Andrea Crawford and Nicholas Deates; loving grandson of Harm Fieten (the late Janel Ann Smith), Lisa Crawford, and James Deates; dear nephew of Magcn, Brittany, Mary, Eladio, David, Richie, Matt, Fonzo, Eric, and Elisia; cousin and friend of many; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Eric to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty third of June 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Eric Lee Crawford and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Eric Lee Cray/ford.
