A RESOLUTION

To honor Bishop Tyrone Harrington, the Senior Pastor and Teacher of Greater Morning View Baptist Church and the work that the church has done for the

community.

WHEREAS, Greater Morning View Baptist Church ("church"), located at 2335 E. 100^,h Street in the city of Chicago, has dedicated itself to outreach in the community;

WHEREAS, Bishop Harrington has served 18 years in the ministry of Greater Morning View Baptist Church and 8 years as the Pastor;

WHEREAS, Under Harrington's leadership, the Church has grown exponentially and continues to grow daily;

WHEREAS, Harrington serves on the Empowerment Covenant of Fellowship Churches Organization, which is a non-denomination organization that has allowed the Bishop to help other Pastors and young leaders in the community;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Members ofthe City Council of the City of Chicago, assembled this thirtieth day of April 2014, do hereby applaud Bishop Tyrone Harrington for over 18 years of service to this outstanding Church.
