RESOLUTION CELEBRATING THE 50™ BIRTHDAY OF CARL

SALVATO

WHEREAS, On Saturday, August 8, 2015, a celebration will take place to honor Carl Salvato in celebration of his 50^th birthday; and

WHEREAS, Carl Salvato, was born in the Bridgeport community of the 11^th Ward, to Salvatore "Butch" and Marlene, and the dearest brother to Jill and Cathy Jo: and

WHEREAS, He has attended grammar school at Nativity of Our Lord; and after graduating from Saint Ignatius College Prep High School, Carl went on to graduate from Marquette University, attended John Marshall Law School and obtained a law degree; and

WHEREAS, Carl, was a member of the Saint Ignatius College Prep basketball team, known more for his offensive skills than his defensive prowess, he holds a school record for most shot attempts; and

WHEREAS, Carl, is a loving husband to his wife, Sue Salvato who he married on September 23,1990, and a loving father to his two children, Salvatore and Carla; and

WHEREAS, Carl became a partner at Salvato and O'Toole in 2010 and continues to practice law; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the Members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, do hereby extend to Carl Salvato our appreciation for his 50 years of contributions to this great city and best wishes on his 50^th; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be made available to Carl Salvato.
