RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Elizabeth E. Foley to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Elizabeth E. Foley (nee Morrissey) age 90. Beloved daughter of the late William A. and Blanche H. Morrissey (nee Adams); devoted wife of the late Raymond J. Foley; loving mother of Carol (James) Sullivan, Raymond J. Foley, Joseph E. (Kathy) Foley, Gary S. (Sonia) Foley, and David W. (Deneen) Foley; fond grandmother of Laura Sullivan, Bonnie (Esteban) Garcia, and John Foley; dear sister to the late Maurice A., Edward (Bernice), William "Babe", George A., Thomas M. and Eleanor Morrissey; dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth E. Foley leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-ninth day of July, 2015, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Elizabeth E. Foley and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Elizabeth E. Foley.
