RESOLUTION

 

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called James Loughney to his eternal reward;

and

 

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and

 

WHEREAS, James Loughney, Retired C.F.D. District Chief, beloved husband of Mary (nee Fucherino); loving father of Jennifer (Wayne) Bebinger, Martin Lt. C.P.D. (Marie), Maribeth and James Sgt. C.P.D (Colleen); cherished grandfather of James, Michael, Patrick, Martin, Fiona, Tristan, Sean, Maeve and the late Aidan; and

 

WHEREAS, James Loughney was dear brother of Maureen Ret. C.F.D., Rita (Michael) Swift, the late Martin, late John (late Nancy), late Rosemary (lateugene "Lefty" Ret. C.F.D.) Waliczek, late Helen (John "Sean") Gardner; caring brother-in-law of Lillian (Richard) Skrezyna, the late Carmella (late John) Kubat and the late Rose Bertucci; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and

 

WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of James Loughney serve as an example to all; who will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his many relatives, friends, and admirers; and

 

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council, assembled this 27th day of June, 2018, hereby express our sorrow o the death of James Loughney and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be presented to the family

 

of James Loughney.
