RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Anthony L. Fosco has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of sixty-one; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by Alderman Edward M. Burke; and
WHEREAS, A native of Chicago, Anthony L. Fosco was the loving and devoted husband of Kathryn; and
WHEREAS, Anthony L. Fosco was the much-adored father of Nicole,' Anthony, Daniel and Dominic to whom he imparted many of the fine and noble qualities which he possessed in abundance; and
WHEREAS, Anthony L. Fosco ably served for thirty-nine years with the Chicago Police Department and was an active and valued member of the Fraternal Order of Police; and
WHEREAS, Anthony L. Fosco dedicated his professional life to the highest and most noble traditions of the law enforcement community; and
WHEREAS, Anthony L. Fosco inspired the lives of countless people through his great personal goodness, charity and concern; and
WHEREAS, The hard work, dedication, and sacrifice of Anthony L. Fosco serve as an example to all; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Anthony L. Fosco to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; and
WHEREAS, Anthony L. Fosco will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his many relatives, friends and colleagues; and
WHEREAS, To his beloved family, Anthony L. Fosco imparts a legacy of faithfulness, service and dignity; now, therefore
 
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council, assembled this twenty-eighth day of July , 2011, do hereby commemorate Anthony L. Fosco for his grace-filled life and do hereby express our condolences to his family; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Anthony L. Fosco.
