RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Thomas M. Mahon has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Thomas M. Mahon; Beloved husband of the late Doreen (nee Nero); loving father of Antoinette Mahon; cherished grandfather of Thomas, Marina, Alyssa, Jacob, and Alana; devoted son of the late John and Dolores Mahon; adored brother of Mary Mahon, Colleen (Joseph) Crisanti, and Noreen (Tim) Connelly; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and

WHEREAS, The hard work, sacrifice and dedication of Thomas M. Mahon serve as an example to all; who will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his many relatives, friends, and admirers; now, therefore

WHEREAS BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this thirteenth of March 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Thomas M. Mahon and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
