TRIBUTE TO RICHARD STELLATO

WHEREAS, In His Infinite Wisdom, Almighty God has granted Richard "Dick" Stellato, a dedicated police officer, husband, father, and grandfather, eternal rest on June 13, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Richard Stellato served the Village of Melrose Park as a police officer for many years, ultimately retiring from the department; and

WHEREAS, Richard Stellato was a loving husband to Patricia (Benso), father of Gina, Tricia, and Marisa, and proud grandfather of six; and

WHEREAS, The Honorable Bob Fioretti, Alderman of the 2^nd Ward, has informed this august body of the passing of this family man and public servant; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this 26th Day of June, 2013 AD, do hereby express our sincerest sorrow upon learning of the passing of Richard Stellato and extend our deepest sympathy to his family and all the many people whose lives he touched in such a remarkable way.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Richard "Dick" Stellato.
