RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Heaven gained the most beautiful angel, Mr. Julius Carter, Sr. who ascended into eternal life on June 21, 2021; and,
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informec1 of his passing by Alderman Ariel E. Reboyras; and,
WHEREAS, Julius Carter, Sr. was born in Cannonsburg, Mississippi on June 4, 1933 to Leon Carter and Mary Lucille Fulton; and,
WHEREAS, Julius Carter, Sr. joined the United States Navy in country honorably for many years; and,
WHEREAS, Julius Carter, Sr. enjoyed his job and took pride in his work as a building inspector for the City of Chicago; and,
WHEREAS, Julius Carter, Sr. had a big smile that could brighten any room. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. One of his fevorite pastimes was fishing, as he was an excellent fisherman, knowing many ways :o catch big fish; and,
WHEREAS, Julius Carter, Sr. leaves behind, his loving wife of 63 years, Beatrice Carter, his three sons; Julius Carter, Jr., Sherman Carter, and Corey Carter, and his five

daughters, Vickie Carter, Elain Brooks, Judy Carter, Joyce Kade; Williams, and Minister Jimmie Williams; and,
WHEREAS, Julius Carter, Sr. leaves a lasting legacy to ai those he touched and will be sorely missed by all; and now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council, assembled this twenty first day of July 2021 A.D., do herebyconiiemorate Julius Carter, Sr. on his grace-filled life and do hereby express our cordplences to his family; and,
