Resolution
Whereas, Norman (Coach) Anderson departed this present life on June 20,2013; and
Whereas, The City Council has been notified of his passing by The Honorable Harry Osterman, Alderman of the 48th Ward; and
Whereas, Norman (Coach) Anderson was an active and vital member ofthe Edgewater/Andersonville community. The beloved husband ofthe late Marie Schroff, loving father of Brian Anderson, Judy Joseph and Peggie Maniscalco, Proud grandfather of Jason, Justin. Kyle, Kevin, John Jr., Meribeth, Janinne, Matthew, Peter and Brandon. Great-grandfather of Madelynn, Ryan, Cole, Dylan, Kennedy, Lux, Bryce, Matthew and the late Maddux, and;
Whereas, Norman (Coach) Anderson organized sports leagues and activities for children and young adults at Peirce School, acting as a mentor and father figure to countless children from Peirce School and the surrounding neighborhood. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved, that we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this day of September 11th, 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Norman Anderson and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

Be it further resolved, that a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Norman (Coach) Anderson
