RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, We, the members of the Chicago City Council, wish to extend our congratulations and warmest birthday wishes to Columbus Tanksley in honor of his 70^th Birthday; and,

WHEREAS, on behalf of the entire 15^th Ward, Alderman Raymond Lopez would like to extend his personal tribute to Columbus Tanksley on the occasion of this momentous occasion as recognition for being a stellar Resident of the City of Chicago; and,

WHEREAS, Columbus Tanksley has been a member of our 15^th Ward Seniors community for the last five years, a constituency we value and treasure for all they have given and taught us in their collective lifetime; therefore,

BEIT RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor and Members ofthe Chicago City Council, gathered here this 13th of November, 2019 A.D., do hereby congratulate Columbus Tanksley on the occasion of his birthday; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that we extend our warmest and heartfelt best wishes to Columbus Tanksley for his continued good health, happiness and success following this, his 70^th Birthday; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to Columbus Tanksley in honor of his 70^th Birthday as a token of our esteem and gpj)d_wishes.
