City Council January 27th, 2021
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Juan F. Luna Sr, has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 81 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Juan F. Luna Sr, Beloved husband of Benita A., nee Munoz; loving father of Viola Munguia, Vilma (Alejandro) Garcia, Maria Luna and Veronica Luna (Javier Sepulveda); cherished grandfather of Raul Munguia Jr., Alejandro Jr. (Melissa) Garcia, Raquel Munguia, Jennifer Garcia, Javier Jr. (Violeta) Sepulveda, Charlie Anthony Beltran, Jesus Garcia, Michele Sepulveda (Eric Melgarjo), Cesar Garcia, Angelica Montoya and Jesus Montoya Jr.; dearest great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend of many; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Juan to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty seventh of January 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Juan F. Luna Sr and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
