RESOLUTION WELCOMING MEMBERS OF THE HILL, DOYLE, BROWN AND FRAZIER FAMILY IN OBSERVANCE OF THEIR FAMILY REUNION
WHEREAS, The strength of our society is represented in the family, which engenders a spirit of togetherness and belonging even when its members are scattered far and wide; and
WHEREAS, Family reunions are thus strengthening events in which family members join together for mutual sustenance and inspiration; and
WHEREAS, Such a reunion will take place in Chicago in July 2013, when members of the Hill, Doyle, Brown and Frazier Families hosts a large celebration. This is the fifth time Chicago has been the host for this momentous occasion. The patriots of the Hill, Doyle, Brown and Frazier Families began to derive the idea of reuniting family members twenty-one years ago — it was truly a vision; and
WHEREAS, Many members of the Hill, Doyle, Brown and Frazier families have been grateful residents of the 29th Ward since the early 1980's. Rev. James Frazier is a Board Trustee of the West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Illinois; has participated with the Advisory Board, and a multitude of members from the Hill, Doyle, Brown and Frazier Families have provided various business services within the City of Chicago. Their rich history began in Mississippi and has spread across the United States; and
WHEREAS, The Hill, Doyle, Brown and Frazier Families have grown in number and pride over the years; and
WHEREAS, The leaders of this great City are proud of Chicago's many families, and of the family structure which supports and enlivens us all; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this eighth day of May 2013 A.D., do hereby express our congratulations and wish the Hill, Doyle, Brown and Frazier Family continued joy and happiness as they celebrate their 21st annual Family Reunion; and
Be It Further Resolved, That God's blessings continue to be bestowed on the family members and...
