Resolution: Catherine "Mary" Garrity
WHEREAS, The members ofthe City Council wish to recognize the many accomplishments and the passing of Catherine "Mary" Garrity; and
WHEREAS, Catherine Garrity departed this present life on January 28,2022; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been notified of her passing by The Honorable Harry Osterman, Alderman ofthe 48th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Garrity was a lifelong Chicagoan and the beloved wife of the late James Garrity C.F.D.; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Garrity was a longtime and esteemed parishioner of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the City Council ofthe City of Chicago, gathered here this day of March 23rd, 2022 [do hereby express our sorrow pn the death of Mrs. Garrity, and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
