RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Alfonsa Bongiovanni has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 95 to her ctcmal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11 th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Alfonsa Bongiovanni nec Licata; beloved wife orthe late Vincenzo; loving mother of Antonino (Josephine), Joseph (Marta), Ross (Michelle), Cathy, the late Gina (late Ignazio) and the late Giovanni; cherished grandmother of Ginetta (Gino), Nicola (Rosalia), Rita (Gino) and Vincenzo (Angela); adored great-grandmother of Salvatorc, Maria Chiara, Alcssandro, Davidc, Ignazio, Cipriano, Francesca and Ignazio; devoted daughter ofthe late Antonino Licata and the late Caterina Palumbo; dear sister ofthe late Rosa (late Carmclo) Barbara and the late Gaspare (late Stella) Licata; fond aunt if many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Alfonsa to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this fourteenth of September 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Alfonsa Bongiovanni and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
