ORDINANCE 111 NORTH CANAL, LLC Acct. No. 378314 -1 Permit No. 1104319
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to 111 NORTH CANAL, LLC, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain and use, as now constructed, an Elevated Roadway/ Loading Dock(s) adjacent to its premises known as 111 N. Canal St
An existing elevated public roadway over a north/south eighteen (18) foot public alley shall be maintained to provide access to upper level loading docks. Existing elevated roadway is paved and has a retaining wall approximately four (4) feet six (6) inches high and is constructed of brick with terrra cotta coping and base line. Existing roadway shall measure three hundred eighty-two (382) feet in length and eighteen (18) feet in width minus an area of two hundred seventy (270) square feet for a total of six thousand six hundred six (6,606) square feet. Roadway is located one hundred fifty (150) feet east of the east line of North Canal Street, between the north line of West Washington Street and the south line of West Randolph Street.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions ofthe Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1104319 herein granted the sum of thirty-four thousand eight ($34,008.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
The permit holder agrees to hold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement...
