WHEREAS, George A Bailey Jr has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his
vyHEREAS,The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson. Aldcnnan of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, George A Bailey Jr. Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Passi), loying/ather of Keith (Maribeth) Bailey, Steve (Jan) Bailey, Diane (Tom) Sinclai"r,";Susan King, "and Nancy (Tom); Spizzirri; step-father of Pant (John) Paladino, Kim (Carl) Gongol, and Karen (Tom) Ficaro; beloved grandfather of 17; great grandfather of 23; a treasured friend to many; and
WHEREAS, George was a retired Captain ofthe Chicago Fire Department; and was an US Navy and Marine Veteran; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability lo live il to the fullest endeared George to-his family >■"
members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will

BE IT RESOLVED. That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty sixth of May 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death i of George A Bailey Jr and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; arid
