RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Raymond "Ray" Eaves has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 85 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D: Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Raymond Eaves, beloved husband of the late Patricia nee Dwyer; loving father of Raymond Eaves, Donna Eaves and Darlene (the late Jeffrey Gurgone) Wisneski; cherished grandfather of Lauren, Raymond, Aidan and Liam;. dear, son of the late Howard and late Mary Eaves; devoted brother of Dolores (late William).Lonergan, late Virginia (late James) O'Brien, late Jcanette (late Vic Olzen) O'Brien, late Howard (Alice) Eaves; fond brother-in-law and uncle of many; friend of Bob Stegmiller, Art Nelson and the Staff at George's Gyros; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Ray to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty third of June 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Raymond Eaves and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Raymond Eaves.
