RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His Infinite wisdom has called Sierra Marie Collins to her eternal reward; and f
WHERAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13th Ward; and
WHERAS, Sierra being the beloved daughter of Maria and Michael Fuentes; loving sister of Terrion Collins; cherished granddaughter of Marc and Fe' Melo; love of her life and soulmate to the late Carter D'Aguann; dearest niece of Marco (An) Melo and Helen Grajalez; loving cousin of Isabella Melo, Charlie Melo, Maria Cardenas, Michael Fuentes, and Helen Grajalez along with with numerous grandaunts; granduncles, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends;, and
WHERAS, we mourn the loss of our beloved Sierra who passed away much too young at the age of 19; We ask everyone who reads this to not only remember Sierra's beautiful spirit, but to also remember to live life to the fullest because it's much too short; and
WHERAS, Sierra grew up in Chicago Illinois where she attended St. Benedict Elementary School and Mother McAuley High school; she attended Illinois State University for her freshman year of college, then relocated to Portland Oregon to continue her education at PCC; and
WHERAS, Sierra loved singing, listening to music, playing sports, working out, shopping, taking pictures, writing in her journal, spending time with friends and family and most of all traveling; she had a deep love for dogs and leaves behind her Tidus, Bambi, and Mr. Cheech; she was funny, goofy, outgoing, vivacious, but most of all sweet, caring and loving; therefore
BE IT RESOLVED That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this nineteenth day of December 2019, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Sierra Marie Collins and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Sierra Marie Collins.
