RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Catherine Mendoza has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable, Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and . f;;.
WHERE AS, Catherine Mendoza: nee Otten; beloved wife of the late Jose "Joe"; loving mother of Shirlccn Saylor. Ron (Mary) and the late Arlenc Mendoza; cherished grandmother of Bill (Alicia) Saylor and the late Ann Marie Saylor and Joe (Kim) Mendoza, Jcnnc (Joe) Rapacz, -Marybcth and the late Amy Mendoza;'adored great-grandmother of Jake, Joey, Matthew, Ryan and Daniel; preceded in death by her parents and sisters; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; ■• and ' .
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Catherine to her family
members, friends and all .who knew her, and/enabled her to enrich their lives in vvays they will
never forget; now, therefore ■ 7.
■ BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this sixteenth of November 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Catherine Mendoza and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Catherine Mendoza. /
