City Council, June 23rd, 2021
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Dolores "Aunt Ben" Crane has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Dolores Crane nee Mladinov; beloved wife of the late Vincent; loving sister of the late Mary Ann (late Mike) Romano; cherished aunt of Marilyn (Mike) Monahan and John (Geri) Romano; adored great-aunt of Michael, Michele (Michael), Maureen (George), Matthew (Annie), Joseph (Siobhan) and Jennifer; devoted grcat-great-aunt of Charlie (Andrea) Mary Kate (Jeff), Claire, Samantha, Sean, Matthew, Grace Christopher, Mikey and Nicholas; fond great-great-great-aunt to Kessa and Jake; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Dolores to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That wc, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty third of June 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Dolores Crane and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
Patrick D. Thompson Alderman, 11th Ward
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dolores Crane.
